PLEASE
READ, SIGN, DATE, AND RETURN TO ABOVE ADDRESS WITH 50% RESERVATION DEPOSIT AND A COPY OF YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE. MUST BE
30 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO RENT OR RESIDE AT THIS LOCATION.
CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIMES: Check in: 3:00pm or later Check out: 11:00am or earlier Please vacate the property no later
than 11:00am so that I can have it ready for the next guests.
PAYMENT:
A non-refundable Reservation Deposit of 50% is due within 7 days of booking to secure your reservation.
This deposit will be applied towards the balance, once the balance is received. The balance is due 2 weeks prior to arrival.
All reservations are firm and non-refundable. I suggest sending payments using Certified Mail. I accept personal or company
checks, money orders, and cash. I do not accept credit cards. Please make checks or money orders payable to the name and address
at the top of this agreement.
If reservations are made too late to allow mailing
payment, special arrangements will be made to collect payment upon your arrival in Grand Isle. Payment upon arrival must be
made by cash only. I will not accept personal or company checks upon arrival. SECURITY
DEPOSIT: A Security Deposit of 50% of the cost of the rental is due 2 weeks prior to arrival. If
there are no deductions from the Security Deposit, the full amount will be mailed back to you within 30 days of departure
to the name and address provided on the reservation. A detailed accounting of any deductions will be submitted to you with
the balance of the deposit. CLEANING FEE: The Cleaning Fee
of $50.00 is due 2 weeks prior to arrival. This fee covers general interior cleaning of the property after departure.
Prior to departure, please wash and put away dirty dishes and remove food from refrigerator and freezer. Garbage should be
bagged, tied, and placed in the roadside bins. There is no need to do laundry or other normal general cleaning in the interior.
Please do not strip beds and please do not leave wet towels on carpet, beds or furniture. Do not move sofas, tables or other
furniture during your stay. Any infringement to this agreement will result in an additional amount taken from the Security
Deposit.
CANCELLATIONS: All reservations are firm. No refunds will
be made for cancellations except in the case of mandatory evacuation of the island. If a mandatory evacuation is ordered in
the event of a hurricane, prior to your arrival, you will have the option of rescheduling your trip or receiving a full refund
of any monies paid. If this occurs after your arrival, a prorated amount will be refunded.
OCCUPANCY:
No children are allowed. If you bring a child you will be asked to leave with no refund. The maximum occupancy is 4 adults.
This is the maximum number of people that may sleep in the house overnight. The living room sofa is not to be opened in order
to be used as another sleeping area for guests. You are allowed to have a reasonable number of guests visiting the property
during the day, however, I do not allow large groups of extra guests and large "yard party" situations. If the police
are dispatched to the house due to large groups of people or because of loud and disruptive behavior, I reserve the right
to deny occupancy to all members of your group with no refund.
LIABILITY:
In no way is the owner of this camp liable for injuries, loss of life or property loss or damage as a result of your stay
at this camp. All guests and visitors are staying at their own risk.
RIGHT
TO CANCEL OR DECLINE TENANTS: At anytime, as the owner, I reserve the right to cancel any reservations and will
refund any deposits paid. Rental of camp is at Owner's discretion.
SMOKING
POLICY: No smoking allowed inside the property. Please use the outside deck and an appropriate receptacle for cigarette
butts. I am extremely sensitive to smoke residue and highly allergic to cigarette smoke. Do not throw them on the deck or
lawn.
AMENITIES FURNISHED: Towels are provided for bathing and
are not to be taken to the beach or used to wash boats or vehicles. Linens, blankets, pillows, mattresses and comforters are
not to be taken to the beach or used outside.
WHAT TO BRING:
* Beach Towels *Groceries (including bath soap, paper
towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, & laundry detergent) * Toiletries * Kitchen condiments * Insect Repellent & Sun screen * Fishing Tackle or a Good Book !!!! OUTDOOR AREAS:
Outdoor areas must be cleaned and returned to proper order prior to departure. This is not included in your cleaning fee.
Fish cleaning areas are provided for your convenience and enjoyment. Please dispose of fish heads, guts, etc. in a proper
manner. They may be placed in heavy trash bags, tied and placed in the garbage bins. Please rinse all fish cleaning counters
with fresh water after cleaning fish. Because of possible flames, Bar-B-Q in open areas only. Once charcoal has cooled please
remove charcoal from pit and discard in garbage bag. Please maintain the BBQ pit during your stay. If Bar-B-Q pit or outdoor
tables and furniture have been moved, please return them to the areas where you found them. Please do not use the outdoor
fire pit. I have been advised by the authorities that this is not allowed in my residential area. Any infringement to this
agreement will result in an additional amount taken from the Security Deposit.
ACTIVITIES
NOT ALLOWED:
** Positively no mobile homes, campers, trailers, tents or any other
type of additional sleeping units are allowed on the property. There are facilities for rent on the island for these types
of units. ** No drinking by minors on property ** No
illegal drugs on property ** No smoking inside bungalow **
No activity that would disturb neighbors including rowdy behavior, public nudity, loud and drunken or other obnoxious behavior ** No loud music after 10:00pm SANITATION: This
Grand Isle house has a septic tank. Please do not dispose of feminine products, paper towels or any other items in the toilet.
Soiled toilet tissue is the only thing that should be flushed. Other items create problems that may cause toilets to backup.
Please dispose of other items in trash cans.
GARBAGE COLLECTION:
Pick up days are Monday and Thursday. All garbage must be bagged, tied and placed in the roadside bins. Do not throw loose
garbage or trash in the cans. MAINTENANCE: I try my best to maintain
the property and keep everything in proper working condition, however, I am sometimes unaware that something needs attention.
If you find that something is broken or needs attention, please notify me. If at all possible, it will be corrected during
your stay so that you will not be inconvenienced. Also, if something accidentally gets broken, please let me know so that
I can replace or repair it propr to the arrival of the next guest. AIR CONDITIONING
AND HEATING: During extremely hot weather, do not set the thermostats below 72 degrees. To do so may cause the units
to freeze up and not cool properly. Upon departure please turn off all units, turn off lights and lock all doors. DAMAGE AND THEFT: I ask that you please respect my personal belongings as I can not
remove them each time I rent the property. Any damage to property or missing items will be deducted from your Security Deposit.
DEPARTURE: Please leave keys on snack bar. There is a $25.00
charge for lost and missing keys.
